About the Group Leader

Diego Alonso (DiegoAlonsoMusic.com) has given educational flamenco performances to libraries, schools, and universities for over 18 years. He graduated with highest honors in Flamenco Guitar Performance from the Fundación Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco (Seville, Spain) and has a Masters degree in Flamencology from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain).​​​​

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • Spain: Flamenco Music and Dance

  • 45 to 60 minute educational performance

  • Bilingual presentation (Spanish-English)

  • Audience Participation + Q&A

FLAMENCO ENSEMBLES

  • Flamenco Trio: Guitar, Singer & Dancer

  • Flamenco Quartet: Guitar, Singer, Dancer & Percussionist

  • Flamenco Quintet: 2 Guitars + 1 Flamenco Dancer, 1 Percussionists, & 1 Singer

  ** Violin, bass, and additional dancers also available

PROGRAM LOGISTICS

  • Unlimited phone or email consultations.

  • Lead musician arrives 30-60 minutes prior to start-time.

  • Lead musician works closely with your event coordinator and sound engineer.
     

TECHNICAL

  • Setup: 30 minutes

  • Takedown: 15 minutes

  • Equipment: We will bring our own amplification/PA, microphones, and a wooden dance floor (if a wooden floor is not available).
